OVA's are hard to interpret... Either it means:
1. They didn't have enough content/money for a second season so they're making an OVA
or
2. The show was so popular the OVA is to state rabid fans till next season.

Indeed. I wonder which one is the case for Black Lagoon, I've been itching for it, but after roberta's trail I wonder. If another season is coming it will take ages before it even gets dubbed. ;/

I like how a bunch of people complained about how this was "such a bait and switch" when it had more catering to this fetish than any other anime in recent memory and was heavily based around boobs.

To me, I think it's because of the size issues. I almost feel like the short one-time-joke rare BEs in some other shows were more dynamic.

Go check it out, roberta?s was badass in the tv series. But in this she cuts loose insanely.
Not a suprise though since she?s taking so much drugs that it?s a miracle she didn?t die from that. Also rock?s meticulously planning of everything on how to handle the situation is rather dark too. He plans all kinds of things, that end up taking the lives of many people just to satisfy his urge??to do it right`` since he felt he failed in Japan with Yukio.
In a way rock might be scarier and there could be something a bit more behind him that we don?t know yet. Was a really that lowly of a worker in previous job? Who knows.
Pity is, I?ve checked out the manga, but I think any scanlators mightve quit.
It?s certainly a bit farther than the anime version but still.

Found the first ep of the OVA. It's pretty awsome. No BE but shes at a size I never remember her reaching in the anime, even by episode six.

At least Kaede's all about the boobs- while Chifusa would sooner give them all away.

Good find though on the OVA- thats more about what I was expecting in terms of over the top size for Episode 6.

So will there be a new OVA for each of the volumes of the DVD/BluRay?

Edit: Just saw this promo type picture too- I'm thinking this comes with the Blu Ray maybe?
