Re: TylorMade(TF)Clips
I bought it too. It's funny because Bud knows when people buy the clips and told me I bought it within 90 seconds of him putting it up! =D As crazy as it sounds, I'm not going to give my two cents on this one because honestly, I'm not sure there's anything to say. The clip isn't bad, but the transformation fans, it's probably not going to impress as much as the Dog Transformation. This clip was actually shot before the Dog Transformation and Tara was supposedly a much more expensive model to hire, so the time they could spend with her was limited, so of course that limited how much they could do with her. I really think they're on their way to refining their techniques and props and so forth, but I do think they should stick with Mika and CoCo for their Transformation clips because they've already proven to be good at selling them. It's probably not a clip to purchase if you're looking for Dog Transformation's effects, but to keep the support rolling in for future Transformations, it's worth it for that.

Re: TylorMade(TF)Clips
Still bummed they didn't consider my recommendation to start using animal prosthetic applications. I posted a bunch of websites for them to browse with some great choices. It really drives me nuts when when there is a close up shot and you see the sharp edge and gap of the nose application with no attempt of blending the edges. There is some promising stuff in some of their work, but I really hope if they keep doing TF videos, that they start taking the make up more seriously. It will only benefit the quality in the long run

Re: TylorMade(TF)Clips
Well again I must say that it's not TMC's desire to use bad make up or props, but it's finding the talent they need to make it look good. You can show them props and make up effects, cheap prosthetics and what have you, but if they can't find a good make up artist to make it look great with blending and hiding edges, then they will just be wasting money on a nice prop with no way to make it look as good as it could. They've been looking for good make up artists believe me, I've tried helping them out, but anybody worth a damn at make up is not about to put their name on work that is considered "porn", especially if they hope to use those talents in any other type of film making and special effects departments. It's a small niche and the talent for that niche is also small, but they are trying. Give them time and remember the genre TMC is in. Keep the faith!

Re: TylorMade(TF)Clips
I am knowledgable with make up and foam latex prosthetic applications, I would absolutely help, but I'm surely no where near where they are located.. otherwise, I'm sure there would be plenty of upcoming make up artists that would do the work and get a chance to add to their portfolios. If its a guy... he gets to enjoy doing sfx makeup on beautiful women.... nothing wrong with that

I know she's not in CA anymore, but I'd love to see Daphne Rosen return for a TF - that she's into.

Re: TylorMade(TF)Clips
I agree with kghost74, that they really could up the quality by using prosthetics, the latex examples linked to wouldn't be too expensive considering they can be reused.
As for profit, if they up the quality they could possibly sell more in the long run. Investment that pays off after a while. |
