No, it's just a parody of the "NEXT EPISODE" things in the Disgaea games. There was nothing of the sort in the following chapter and onwards.

Well, if you want to make the quest slightly shorter than 'never ending', you might want to try a local bookstore. Both the one-shot Disgaea manga adaption and two volumes of the ongoing Disgaea 2 manga have been released by Broccoli Books. Additionally, they're releasing a Disgaea 2 art book in March.

I own this game. Should really get around to playing it at some point...

I remember seeing that in the Disgaea 2 manga after buying it. Boy was that a treat! And funny too.
