I know about this film, the shrinking woman or something, it could even be the same film as this, but at the end she starts growing, and they show her shoe tearing to be torn apart by her growing foot. She wasn't that attractive or anything, and she probably had really ugly feet, but the fact that they never continued it like that was what annoyed me the most. I doubt there was a sequel to the film either.

the movie your thinking of is 1981's the Incredible shrinking woman with Lily Tomlin. were that is how the movie ends and with a smile on her face..
