Gymnast

Been doing some work on anatomy (wooo for using actual reference!) and thought this was good enough to take it to a finished state. Not much of a process, but I had a lot of fun doing a black and white piece after working on Issue 2 of Mind over Matter. It turns out working in color is a pain in the ass.

I guess it makes sense that there are people in the comic book business who's sole job is coloring.

Anyways, enjoy.

Re: Gymnast

Very nice work. Didn't you do a short comic/sequence like this before? At least I think that was you...

So, Issue 2, huh? When might we expect to see it?

Re: Gymnast

The wedgie seemed like a good idea at the time.

I imagine that growing out of an spandex leotard would feel uncomfortable at the very least.

Re: Gymnast

hey, just curious, I really like your work mongoose. you are my favorite artist.

but I've never been able to find a collection of your stuff. Do you have one somewhere, or do you just post them wherever and I'll have to hunt for stuff?

Most of my stuff is here in the Process, you just have to look for threads started by me. I've just recently started uploading some of it to my deviant art account, which can be found here.

The face is off putting for me. Don't get me wrong I enjoy your work and what you have done. Not to mention I see WHY you did the face but... It is REALLY off putting

Hey, I'm always looking for helpful critique and suggestions.

Anyway, I was going for "funny" not "off-putting", so I will keep that in mind next time I draw a wedgie-face.

Which will probably be soon.

Because the growth process genre is a veritable cornucopia of wedgie opportunities.

-Cheers
