A good source, always was, but I agree...Blar's cranky modum operandi really kept me away.

This isn't the first time the site has been up but not really starting from an April 1st. That's right, it's not just random trolling, it's repetitive random trolling.

Eh it is his ball(bandwidth/site) and he can play with it how he chooses. I did like it better when it is was a free for all torrent system. We used a program and people shared what they had. You downloaded from them and the shared what you had and people downloaded from you. It was less organized but much more fun to explore. I forget what the program is called, and if it still even exists. So yeah... those were the days. Days when pretty much everything was free you just had to know who to download it from.

Still Blar is getting old, and old people tend to want to do things there way. Since he is paying for it then he will do things the way he wants. I mean the same can be said for Lorekeep. So yeah... people do things differently. It is what it is.

I give blar props for trying time and time again. So we have to at least give it a shot and see what comes of it. Probably a whole lot of nothing but still who knows.

You're probably thinking of DC++, and the GTS hub he created with it. It was certainly a good thing, but putting up with Blar was *never* fun. Yes, it's his ball, and god damn if he'd let you forget it for a single picosecond. I lost count of how many times I'd step into the hub, and he'd start the exact same conversation with me; always asking about my preferences on size, and then segueing into asking if I'd read (or, later, re-read) that Supergirl story he wrote. And then asking for essays about how great it was. Every. Time.

Same. It got to the point where I didn't even go there anymore, even at it's prime, because I was kind of tired of critiquing the same (rather mediocre) story over and over and over again. I'm supposed to tell a guy that runs the place, who makes it clear that if you so much as fart too loudly that you are "outta here" that i think his story is crap after about the 43rd read?? No thanks.
