I can't understand this Bitorrent thing at all. I've got the program, a client, several links, and still nothing happens! Is there something I'm missing?

What client do you have?

Some clients like Azureus require a Java runtime environment.

Otherwise, once everything is installed, just click the link and open the torrent file with your bittorrent program. It should then ask you where you want to save the file. Tell it where you want it and then just sit back and relax while it downloads.
