Re: Mouth Erasure
I just commissioned a clip from Xil on this very topic.
http://www.clips4sale.com/store/13126 Done with practical make-up only, it's a little rough on one of the girls but for a first attempt at something like this I'm pretty pleased. |

Re: Mouth Erasure
A few things here after nearly an 8 month hiatus, thanks to good ol' Marvel.
First off a scene from New Mutants #21 where Trista, a mutant who can control people with her speech, bites off more than she can chew when she forces another mutant to fool around with a magical artifact she doesn't quite understand, and he gets the better of her when he cuts off the source of her power entirely. Second, a few pages from Thor - First Thunder #2, where Loki tries to goad Thor by working a few transformations on Jane. On top of erasing her mouth, he also reduces her arms to two little flipper-like hands, and fuses her legs together. That's a bit weird, even for me, but she gets better once Loki is appropriately threatened. Of the two, though, Trista in New Mutants seems to be left in that state. I have no idea if her character will ever return in the comic's run, so she may still be stuck like that if she ever reappears. |

Re: Mouth Erasure
There's an episode of Doctor Who where people are having their faces stolen.
Takes the nose and eyes as well as the mouth but it might still be of interest to you. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Idiot%27s_Lantern |

Re: Mouth Erasure
Personally I'm just into only the mouth. Removing the eyes loses a lot of the impact if you can't see the look of shock in them. And, well, removing the nose leads directly into suffocation, unless something else is keeping the person alive, but either way it doesn't do much for me.
But I know there are folks who ARE into full-blown face erasure, and I haven't heard of this particular one in those circles, so I'll check it out and pass it on. Thanks. |

Re: Mouth Erasure
Turns out there was some literal mouth erasure in the latest episode of The Superhero Squad Show (Season 2, episode 14) where Nebula is relieved of her mouth.
She gets her mouth back in the following episode Last edited by BaronChimera; 08-02-2011 at 02:45 AM. |

Re: Mouth Erasure
I realize it's male content, but I recall it happening once (and being played for laughs) to Tommy in one episode of Power Rangers Dino Thunder.

Re: Mouth Erasure
Been ages since there's been something to post here, but there was a brief mouth erasure in an episode of Degrassi High, of all things.
(She apparently Gets Better at the end of the episode) |
