The thing to remember is that most actresses don't want to have a film online forever showing them doing a transformation based softcore porno for $7.99 that maybe 50 people might buy vs having an actual career. Every single one of these sorta light duty porn producers like Missa or Taylormade have to weigh the pros and cons of it. Like say you have the actress, a cameraman, an editor, the makeup artist and say one or two more crew, thats 7 wages, lets say its a 1 day shoot (10 hours overall for each person) say each makes $200 bucks, thats $1400 plus say $200 in props. Then they charge $10 for a download, that means 160 people have to pay to download it to break even, most profit margins are 3x cost to cover everything, so they need to get around 500 people to pay to download it and with how niche our fetish is thats a lot of luck to get that many, and that amount of wage/production costs are probably a way low number to the reality so the needed payed downloaders would be way higher

I hate to use Abrownrigg as an example but he seems to be active making another werewolf movie and on his youtube hes showing actual "our level" prosthetics work and guessing he probably has over 40 hours of work put into all of them (factor in design/sculpt/casting/cleanup/finishing) and hes not at production finished levels. So say its 100 hours of work into a full female body tf level set of practical effects, not just glued on wig hair and leftover halloween prop stuff like most videos. So as a makeup artist he could charge say $30 an hour for that level of work, thats a $3000 makeup application for probably less than 5 minute scene.
Would any of us give away $3000 of our sweat equity and resources and not expect return?

Very good points. Money is a big issue, but in this case it would be important to have the opinion of one of these producers in order to see how the sales are in terms of profitability. Just to approach to similar cases, but not being exactly the same, we can have a look at some patreons with tf/fetish/whatever content. Some amateurish guys (even being very talented, of course) get 200-500 usd monthly from something that can be perfectly described as "minoritary". So I suspect that the TF-pseudoporn videos get more than a few hundred downloads (and make the numbers).... and in the long run, having a look at clips4sale, you can see that videos more than 5 years old are still having sales.
About the actresses thing, I remember having read some comments from Missa herself about the real problem. it was that a TF shot required very long stage work and preparation, and many actresses did not have the patience or nerves to go through it. Keep in mind that almost 90% of them are porn/fetish actresses, that have done more, let's say, "shameful" stuff before. If in Internet, I'd prefer to have a video wearing a wig than sucking a dick :P, but anyway I understand your point.

The first part should be coming out on MissaX in late April. There is still a little to be shot for it. It is a 4 part feature, that will have at least 1 partial TF and 1 full TF sequence.

It will be available on MissaX.com at first (we do have downloads) and move to DVD/VOD/clips most likely in September
