Focus on Shrinking

Has anyone noticed that a vast majority of shrinking stories, the focus is not on the process of shrinking but on the interactions between the shrunken victim and the "giant" world? Or that the process is so slow and drawn out that the story becomes a novel?

For me, that's one big thing that I like about animal TF stories and frustrates me about shrinking stories: in the TF stories, you can focus on the process, the feelings, etc of the change, while in the shrinking stories it's quicker or too slow.

Anyone else see this?

If you are looking for a story with slow shrinking that catches even the feeling of the shrinkee and the effect of her surroundings, I can recommend you this:

I think this falls into the "too long of a story" where the process is lost within a novel. But thanks for the recommendation... I might take a look at it.

Feel free to check out the list of my free stories in my signature. Most of my stuff is pretty process-heavy.

....and of course if you wanna buy an e-book I won't complain... ^_^

Well the shrinking fetish is such a niche fetish and the process targets such a small group of that. I also wish there was more content like that There are quite a few shrinking stories that I can recommend to you. I'll have to look when I get home but check out slumber party if you already haven't. That should have everything your looking for

Shrinking is different than the other TFs in that you don't really see anything if you just look at yourself. You need to see things around you for comparison.

Awhile back I was dabbling in shrinking+vore stories and I found some intense stories that went into a lot of detail on the physical aspect of shrinking (what the person's body was feeling, etc).

Very intense

With size-change in general, sure, but I think it can be more complex and involved if it crosses over into other genres like tf or body-morphing. Barring that, the way it happens can be interesting too, like if the process is in spurts or causes some sort of loss of control or intense sensation.
