It's a shame there is not more excitement about this in the community. I'm hopeful this could be something really special. I'm considering making the trip, but even if I don't, I'm still going to throw in a few bucks for the cause.

I'd invite more artists/non-industry folks, and invest in having them come for free (free ticket and hotel, paid by SizeCon). Getting people from overseas would be way too much, but I'm certain that there are tonnes of great expansion/size celebrities that live in the New York area or nearby.

As it stands right now, it feels like I'd be attending an overelaborate strip club. It makes me very uncomfortable. Popular artists in this scene can certainly help with PR and publicity (heck, those skills are why they're popular artists lol), and non-industry presence would certainly open up the mood for the event.

Without them, well, the event feels a bit like how Process is right now. Lacking a casual warmth and oversaturated with cashgrabs.

Opik-Oort is attending SizeCon as a guest. IMHO, he does arguably the best inflation art on the web.
His fruit women in particular are spectacular
