The age thing is a minor detail though. The CEO could still be younger than Beth. Maybe, she shrunk people above her to get to the top.

As for the mother thing Beth could be a single mother with a teen daughter after her divorce. The like the idea of Beth looking young maybe the actress that plays Beth in the sequel reboot could digitaly look 40, and appear younger with the shrinking as a defect side effect so that makes it easy for Beth.

I don't mind Beth being the shrinking woman in a sequel. Not sure if age matters. She should be more attractive than Lily Tomlin was. Beth would have to be more prepared then Pat was if it is a sequel.

Could use some cameo's. This may just be me, but how cool would it be to have Christopher Walken do a cameo.

I would like to see BelleChere as a shrunken woman. Not sure what she would wear. Have a small scene with her at Barbie size helping a much smaller Beth escape. BelleChere would still be shrunk at the end of the movie modeling a Barbie swimsuit before she is restored.
