Re: Female Werewolf needles in a haystack

Is there any indication yet of if 30th night will be available beyond the festival circuit?

I hope these are view-able outside the festival circuit. Someone see if that's possible.

Why don’t you contact the film makers directly and see. I believe howlingfan prob would be pro-active enough though 🤞

I already contacted the film company, but I haven’t heard back yet. Then again, it was only yesterday. I haven’t sent a message on their Facebook page, but someone else may want to look into that since I’m hardly on FB anymore.

Or we could NOT be weird by contacting filmmakers about non-fetish content

QFT.

Really, there isn't a good way to do this without being creepy. Even if we ask questions that aren't creepy on their face, the fact that it's coming from a fetish community makes it creepy.

"What's your shoe size?" is not necessarily a creepy question to ask in certain social contexts but it becomes creepy when you know the person asking it is a foot fetishist. And I don't think we're making it better by discussing amongst ourselves how not to clue the filmmaker off that our main interest in their work is whether or not we'll find it wankable. I'm with Lecher; let's please leave it be.

Re: Female Werewolf needles in a haystack

It's probably fine as long as no one mentions the fetish-based interest or this site.

Like, do not ask "Hey, is the transformation scene going to involve nudity?" or "Will the transformation be sexy?" While it would be fine to ask about the length of the transformation scene or if it will be anything similar to 'American Werewolf in London' in terms of detail. Those are totally benign lines of questioning that are not at all creepy.

Well here is hoping we hear back sometimes soon. I went looking and could not find anything new.

This. If there's a legitimate way to get our hands on this short film, it benefits both us and the creator. As long as we don't bother them past the point of polite inquiry, the only reason I see not to reach out is some weird self-loathing thing, and I'm not really about that. Just be nice, be discrete, no issue.

Re: Female Werewolf needles in a haystack

I simply asked if it was possible to see the short film outside a film festival. That is all.
