Three days, three pages! That's the tally this week with the completion of page 62! I am making great progress! The "RL" work that I expected came in much later than I thought, so I was able to put a good amount of time today working on this latest page. I wasn't able to post it to the blog until late, as that "RL work" needed some attention (boy, it's been a long 14 hour work day). This is the seventh page of the issue of 20 pages, which means we are past the one-third mark! Hopefully, I will be able to keep up this steady pace over the next few weeks and get issue #4 released as soon as possible!

I worked extra late today, because I really wanted to finish page 63. I thought I could complete it yesterday, but alas, I was not able to do so. I'm getting into the flow of things, which is great as I am getting faster at certain coloring and special effects applications. I've kept a library of certain textures and such, which allows me to quickly apply them to the frame ? especially denim, skin texture, and others. On to the next page...!

With the completion of page 65, I have finished the first half of issue #4! There are 10 more pages to go for this extra-long chapter, and then I will be able to release this, the longest issue so far of the grOw/cOmic#5 series.

It's been a little while, but page 66 is finally done! A combination of a heavy "RL" workload and a time-consuming and detailed page were the reasons for this longer than usual time span between updates. As mentioned, the detail level on this page was seriously ramped up compared to others, with added textures, folds, and other effects, some of which can be seen in this preview. Eleven pages down, nine to go!

It's been a little slow going, but the pace has been steady. "RL" work has been very heavy, plus numerous other obligations have kept me busy all day long. But I am fitting some time into each day to make progress on issue #4. Over the last few days, I was able to slowly produce and finish page 67. The issue is now 60% done. The next few pages may each take a little more time as the detail level is going up. But hang in there! I think you'll really like this issue!

Just a little too much detail to have finished it by this past Friday, I was able to complete page 68 earlier today. This page contained lots of little bits and pieces of details, textures, and effects that it took extra time to work on. But, the results were worth it. The panel that this preview is from came out great! More detail like this will be on a few of the next couple of pages, so these may also take a bit of extra time. Good news is, as I am posting this, I've already made huge progress on the next page. 13 pages down, 7 to go ? we are at about the two-third's mark!

As I mentioned yesterday, I was able to make great progress on page 69 after I finished page 68. This allowed me to complete page 69 today, even though it was full of detail and effects (as you can see). The next page or 2 will require setting up new backgrounds, which will take more time. Due to this (and some "RL" work that is bugging me), you won't see a third day in a row update, unfortunately. But as we slowly get closer to a release, there are only 6 more pages to go!

We have reached the 75% mark with the completion of page 70. Fifteen pages down, five more to go. The detail is very heavy on these pages, so progress has been a bit slower than usual. In addition, I had to create new 3D backgrounds for these pages that haven't appeared in the series as of yet. The same will happen on page 71, so hang in there.
