Yeah, I think a comment like that is along the lines of the idea that if we're paying someone to help us get more in shape, we'd prefer that they look like they're doing a pretty good job on themselves.

Of course, when i was a gym member a few years back - paid a bit for a couple personalized lessons every now and then just to some advice on specific recommended exercises for my case - all our trainers wore sweatpants and t-shirts....I don't think the gym I went to allowed folks to work out in just a sports bra at all - too much sweat on the machines

She, uh, *does* look like she's doing a decent job on herself. She may not have a six-pack, but she's certainly fit enough to give roughly 70% of Americans fitness advice.
