Because a decent amount of people like the gender transformation from a normal girl to what is called a dickgirl. This thread is here also to separate this material from the normal TG content such as male to female or female to male transformations.

I've heard of Anime Hell before. Most of the stuff is DG or DTG anime parodies, and they're all basically the same plot. Bad guy kidnaps female character, she gets a dick somehow, and sex ensues.

Shemale generally have more of a masculine body (wide shoulders, deeper voice, adams apple) and most were born male but had surgeries. There is not such thing as real dickgirls or futanari. Sure there is the occassional porno made in japan with girls who use prospetics and act out like they are real, but that is as close as you can get. Futa/Dickgirls have a totally female bodies except for an addition. Above the waist, you cannot tell if they are or not. They also have the mind of a female as well.

Some also feel that shemale applies to posessing a body of female overtones, while having exclusively male genitals.

Dickgirls sometimes have male and female genitals, there's a great deal of artistic liscense tossed around.
