Anyone remember an old story where two guys get tfed into two house drakes caused by a purchased serum? One turns into a male Drake while the other turns into the female. And their friend tends and watches over them as this all occurs.

I think it was a fantasy movie of some kind. I seem to remember the main characters rowing down a river past the transformation as it's taking place, but I could be mistaken.

A group of fairies (or similar creatures) are pushing a man-or-woman down a slide, which drops down into a vat of bubbling liquid. After the man/woman splashes into the liquid, he/she emerges as a new fairy.

Sounds pretty familiar to me. Posted a similar summary on dvdtalk years ago (thread disappeared I guess when they switched servers) - never got a response. Seemed like a pretty early 80s fantasy style - lots of crystals/reflections/etc. Think it would have been sometime in '89 when I saw it on TV or someone's VHS.

I almost recall that there was something at the bottom of the slide that looked like it was swallowing whoever went down (more than one?)....and then there was a transformation...

thought it might have been a "witch mountain" flick, but never able to verify.

Holy shit I remember that. The girl went down the slide and ended up as a faerie. The guy went down and ended up as this floating sphere monster that spat out gold.

Much, much LSD went into making that movie. No idea what it was called.

Might have to farm this one out to some other forums....I really can't imagine what it was (only saw clips - not the whole movie)...but it was probably some sort of family film. Can't really imagine watching some R flick with the people I think I was watching it with.

I remember the movie but for the life of me I can't remember the name, it dealt with kids finding a little person and make him miss the end of the rainbow that is his portal home.
In short, the kids help him get home only to find out that because they have trespassed on this world, they will not be allowed to return but be transformed. They do escape so no tf there. The only tf scene I can remember is one of the girl going down a slide into a pit, then coming out in a winged butterfly costume. Not process.

Funny to see some of the other comments on the trailer you posted - guess a weird movie like that hit a lot of kids the same way ;p
