I like this concept: Multiple routes for a transformation to occur, and being able to view every single one of them. Though I'm only sure it would be ridiculous to acquire more art as the amount of in-between stages increase, let alone the number of variables.

Yeah, I have done a number of these and 5x5 and 4x6 seem to be the most practical in terms of getting enough steps in the process while not utterly destroying a budget.
