Well, again as promised here's Waranghira's colorized version of HMB's lineart for the sequence inspired by Heather Hurts Her Hand.

Initially I was thinking the series would increase in glitz, but the more I look at it the palette's got a classy tone to it I think tells a slightly different story than pure ditz. I feel the shading really is more in line with the predatory/confident attitude as the series progresses.

Looks like the Bimbo Merchant is taking a break. As much as I've enjoyed the blog-form stories I'm looking forward to returning to some good old fashion Limerick. I'm sure they're not easy, but another big story like Calving Signs would be nice. It had a central figure, but also a look at other parts of town. Perhaps that sort of structure would work well within a school clique environment? A flu hits the local high school, lines become blurred, or become much more clear? Hmm...

Oh, geez. I'm taking a bimbo break -- six straight months of daily content has burnt me out. AND I had two stories in there. It's gonna be awhile.

Also I already wrote the school/flu/virus story. Three times. The Hornies and Firehose and Endorphins. Arguably also Backwash and Careers in Science. No more school flus for awhile.
