This kid likes slow shrinkin!
If you're playing it in Quicktime's newest version, pressing Ctrl+K will bring up a popup in which you can mess with the speed and direction of the clip. So any clip can be as slow as you like, and growth clips can be shrinking clips.

What version of QT are you running? 7 is required.

i have QT 7... and in your growth section you said it requires a certain codec... and after a while of googling for a free download and going to the offical apple QT page, i think the problem is that you need QT PRO which is like $30

i could be wrong however

The model I built myself (it's based on the model that's built in the tutorials on my website) As for the clothes, it's just finding the right cloth simulation settings and letting it fly!

That's odd. The codec I mentioned is h.264, which is the new codec released in Quicktime 7. It should be in both free and pro versions. Lemme ask this - Can you watch any of the trailers on apple.com?

The Clerks2 trailer for example - http://www.apple.com/trailers/weinst...rks2/trailer2/
Is encoded with h.264. If you can watch that but not my clip then something is very screwy.

http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/standalone.html

That gets you the standalone version of QT 7 (it wont install Itunes) just uncheck the email options, you dont need to enter an address.

If it STILL wont work, try saving the .mov to your desktop and play it that way, dont play it in a browser. Perhaps your browser is acting funky.
