If you think it has unfortunate real life implications, the same could be said for 95% of the kinks here.

I think there is a few core differences here. A. I am saying fictional characters and we have tons of more straight characters then fake characters.

B. Real people aren't forced to be gay or pretend to be gay, it doesn't work in reverse. it's not hypocritical cuz that situation doesn't exist for straight people.

C. A person who has come out as a kind of gay has explored their sexuality, that isn't always the case for someone who currently ids as straight. We have a lot of things that make being gay scary so lots of people live a lot of their life in denial.

With all that in mind I see that as allowing a character to be "free". I don't like it if it takes them from a loving partner or anything like that either, I think that is still gross.

Speaking of unfortunately implications, don't ask me how I found this, but there is this B-Movie called "Curse of the Queerwolf" that sort of fits the bill.



I'll let Wikipedia sum up the plot for you. It's um, different...

Larry meets someone he believes to be a woman, but is actually a transvestite, who turns him into a "queerwolf" by biting him on the buttocks. He transforms into a transvestite at night when there is a full moon. People hunting the werewolf discover the transvestite at Larry's apartment, and they also warn him about a curse. A gypsy offers to help him, but Larry refuses until the first full moon that he experiences. The only way for him to combat the transformation is to look at a medallion with a picture of John Wayne.[1][2]

Yeah so it's supposed to be a comedy I guess, 1988 was a bit of a different time. Honestly the idea of "de-gaying" someone by having them look at pictures of John Wayne is kind of ironic post-"Brokeback Mountain."

I'm not going to weigh on the whole unfortunate moral ethics of sexuality change as a fetish, but I just thought I'd say this here is pretty daft.

But at the same time, is it anymore ridiculous and insensitively stupid and naive than the entire "Were-Woman" (Meaning were-slut usually) genre which seems common in tg fictional literature?

Perhaps I'm generalising, but most men into TG fantasise about being the subject of said TF. Having lots of sex as a girl tends to be among those fantasies. So honestly, it's a case of providing what's demanded.

I think it's kinda hot in tandem with TG. Somehow perversely as someone who'd be all sorts of insanely turned on to have a female body myself the notion of losing my attraction to women and becoming straight fits right in with how I like my tfs dark and cruel, depriving me of the satisfaction my new form once provided. I'd now have the sort of body I once lusted after but that can no longer grant me any pleasure. It'd probably be a mercy anyway if ya really think about it. Otherwise one might go crazy from the constant stimulation.

I gotta wonder if still knowing I once found such a body hot but unable to feel any attraction to it, would I even be capable of missing the lost attraction? Would the new attraction feel odd but so desirable that it's of no real consequence? How would that work?

That's only assuming the subject would enjoy the gender change. Otherwise it's just hot to see the subject have their interests twisted around.
