on yahoo groups some time ago there was an artist who did a lot of melting / transformations I think he/she was called DUCE and had a dice as a logo/sig..

Yes... I'm aware of that story. That however is a goo girl. I think this thread pertains to girls who are not composed of jell-o and then melt though.

That last one was fantastic and is exactly the kind of stuff I was talking about. the only problem though is that she remains liquid and never at least appears solid again.

The "Water Woman" you mean? If so, no she doesn't remain liquid. The formula she used to turn into water and gain water powers only lasts for 24 hours at which point she reverts to human form, without clothing I might add. There's a scene of that as well.

I remember reading a story about two girls, one was a normal girl just living her life and another had the ability to shapeshift. The shapeshifter became a second skin for the first, allowing her to shapeshift at any time she wanted. It was a really good read but I cannot remember the name of it for the life of me. Anyone know what it was called? I think it was something like Two are One, or I'm senile.
