Is it me, or most of the best artists do a lot of their work for free.

I never once thought about paying for a membership at the BEA because the lack of talent with a lot of the artists. Sure there are some pretty nice artists, but not enough for me to pay.

If I ever become a member of the BEA, it'd be because I got a morphing program and made my own BE morphs so they would make me an 'artist' (they seem to love morphers, no matter how shitty they are at it). I cannot draw for my life, and I'm not hoping to suddenly learn, however I'm not gonna shell out like, $100+ a year for mostly shitty morphs. However there are some great artists (real artists, not morphers).

Here's a tip, kids: for people to make more stuff, it has to be profitable. Otherwise the BE world will remain stuck hoping that someone will add a BE scene to a move as a joke. If you don't put your money where your mouth is, you have no right to complain, ever, about lack of new material.

I hosted it without knowing the original author or the entire story. There had been years of people asking who was the original author, and no one seemed to have any ideas. R2D2 must not have been the original author as was the rumor, as he did really die years ago.
