Re: Willing vs. Forced
Anything but A. There might be stories where it works, but I've seen too many where it's just depressing to the extreme.

So far, very much E, and still plenty of room for conflicts. (Some stuff happen after that that definitely puts the movie in the D category, but that's beside the point.) |

Re: Willing vs. Forced
No, remember, the immortal lady told them to "take care of their bodies." They were both fatally wounded, but the potion kept them alive, even though the wounds caused them to rot.
Or at least that's what I got out of the movie. And, if you're interested in conflict, what about E, along with someone evil trying to obtain the means of transformation? |

Rot they did but not cause of the wounds. I can?t find a scene on youtube to prove it but I'm damm sure they were both thrown out of the club and therefor denied the potion to stay young. Plus one of them did fall in one scene down some stairs and get her head turned 180 but didn't shattered like in the scene in the link above. |

And if the story is almost completely non-tf, I don't think it really fits with the question of the thread. Last edited by TrumanGrace; 12-14-2008 at 04:05 PM. |

Re: Willing vs. Forced
I personally enjoy A the most, but only when it includes the mental change as well. Then again, I'm a big fan of D, especially when it comes to things like wishes and spells.
Wishing to be insanely attractive, yet not specifying the gender and having a greatly different result to the desired change is a definite favorite of mine. Last edited by dousedinashe; 12-15-2008 at 12:16 PM. |
