"And pantsless being sexier is subjective, pants would be a nice option. " => I can try to add in pants, as long as they are skin-tight, or skirts, if they go on another layer. Graphic-Technical issues, really.

"I dislike classes in the sense of "specializing". If I'm level 255 and I want to suddenly switch from emphasis on white magic to speedy attacks, I'm going to be disappointed if I can't. Should at least be able to switch between black/white magic, given they run off of the same stat. Progress made until now:

-Battle engine: 40% done (The graphical half of it needs to be done. The technical part is almost done - I just need to code in the attacks!)
-Intro sequence: 100% done (Its kinda awesome. The graphics are cel-shaded. I was thinking of giving all of the "divine" the graphical theme of cel-shading - a la Samurai Jack- to set them apart from mortals, who will be in Anime-style.)
-Everything else: 0%

I've been kinda busy recoding the code-spaghetti I had going on in my CGF game so I haven't had much time. To make matters worse, a certain issue that is going to last for two weeks has arised, so my coding time has practically halved. Uggggh.

Now that I think of it, having a pre-set protagonist is kinda boreing. I much prefer customizeable protagonists (like Skyrim) and not pre-set for this kind of game. So... Scrap Cedylle. The protagonist is going to be user-defined (you choose the race, the general appearance, etc).

Don't get prematurely hung up on graphics. Use a modular system where you can set a graphic whenever you want and design the game in a way that its fun even with the characters being colored rectangles.

Just some recapping...

-Stats, you would have "Strength", "Stamina", "Speed", "Strength".
-Races: Human, Cowgirl, Catgirl, Foxgirl, Wolf/Doggirl, Bunnygirl.
-Expansions: BE, AG, LG

Some ideas...

-Making a basic RPG turn-based battle screen is insanely easy and repetitive. I want to make it a bit more interesting than that. I was thinking of something like a pseudo-turn based system. A bit more real-time. Tell me what you think.

You have your gal. You assign different attacks to different numbers. Lets say you've got 1-Strike, 2-Block, 3-SelfHeal. Each one of these have a "casting" time. The game is real-time, and your controls are 1,2 and 3, and optionally another one for running away. You will have to try to coordinate your strikes and blocks properly and you'll have to times your heals right. Kinda inspired in how Dark Souls is played. This system would be very single-character based, so you wouldn't have additional party members. However, the combat system could be very dynamic and fun like this. I dunno. Gimme your thoughts.

Actually, I was wondering what's supposed to happen when the protagonist gets so big, depending on exactly how big the protagonist can get in this game. If the game is going to have "chounyuu and beyond" sizes, it might get kinda awkward trying to incorporate that into an active battle system.

I was thinking of having them magically "slide" on the ground then they reach there. Because BE god magic. I don't like the idea of a cart.

Thoughts on combat:
The dynamics allowed by real-time combat wouldn't mix too well with fappability, even with one-handed controls.

A few notes on what I'd like to do for MY system (take what you wish from this, all tentative):
Strictly turn-based, Two player-controlled characters vs. multiple enemies per battle. Options would be modular in the sense you can add or remove them on the fly, but rather self-explanatory and simple. Should probably go through no more than three menus to choose an action (Select Mammary Magic, Select Oppai Missile, Select one enemy).

The two player-controlled characters are a boy and a girl. No need for a complex custom character system. In hentai games, it always leads to someone wanting to play as a futa, and most BE artists I know don't enjoy futa. Having a boy and girl allows for cute tender moments and various sexy shenanigans between the two.

Woh! Valuable observation! Trash real-time then. It will strictly turn-based. I forgot about fappability!

That's gold.

Basing myself on that, REINSTATE Cedylle. The "Boy" can be yourself, the BE God, taking "Phyisical Form". In the beginning, you won't be able to become Physical, you're just a spirit "attached" to Cedylle, that can talk to her and such. As Cedylle removes more and more of your chains, you can become a magical ghostly in-battle ally (in early game), and eventually, you can take on a true human shape (for some minutes, then for some hours, in mid-game where the sexual/romantic tension between you and Cedylle has built up quite a bit). Having that "gaining a phyiscal form" feature would really add to the sense that you're "recovering" from your weakened state (You're kinda of a Midna kind of person)

Heck! A God/Mortal romance like in Greek Mythology!
