Tf stuff wasn't the only fetish catered to. There were plenty of other little nick nacks that a parent with some closet hobbies would freak out about and call to complain for. Thing is most places the network would tell them to go screw themselves and that nothing explicit or damaging to a child was being shown, America is hung up about anything that might be sexual to the extent that those calls have a major effect on airings.

Do you have any evidence for this theory? Because a more plausible explanation is that Cartoon Network usually treats imported shows quite badly, unless they happen to be from Japan. France makes a considerable amount of cartoons, but you won't see them on Cartoon Network.
