In Brutal Legend there is a "Sea of Black Tears" anyone who drinks from this is driven insane and murderous with sorrow, those who survive basically become the living dead, almost zombish like creatures who whine alot and dress like Hot Topic Goths.

Spoilers

This ends up happening one of the female leads, no process but I thought it was worth mentioning.
Did a quick search and here it is.

Re: Evil conversion(for the lack for better term)

Not much to show for it...but I can confirm that there is a main heroine corruption in Dawn of Mana. Big plot significance I won't post the details check the wikipedia entry on the game if you want the spoiler. Here's the Youtube cut scene. A fancy poof but bold move [big plot EC] for such a fruity game. The whole Mana franchise fell apart after the 3rd game, I refuse to acknowledge this as the official 4th Seiken Densetsu...Aw well...

Re: Evil conversion(for the lack for better term)

Hello everyone, first off I would like to say that this has turned out to be such a great thread thanks to everyone who has helped to keep the new content coming in. And on the line of new content, I guess that there are still a lot of Japanese-only, niche sites out there which are inaccessible to the English speaking audience. I have stumbled across one such site and due to my lack of skill in Japanese, I am probably like most of the people here who rely on translation software and OCR recognition.

To make a long story short, the webmaster and artist has what seems to be a wide variety of great evil conversion art which is in the same vein as Macxe's Dinaranger series. Unfortunately the access is password protected. As it stands, I have been able use some graphic editing and OCR to determine that the password hint graphic at the bottom of the page

http://uzumakido.x.fc2.com/xxxxxx/

points to a direct translation of "female vampire"

As the main disclaimer text is also a graphic, the same OCR technique I used to find the meaning of the password hint cannot be used due to its very small size. Attempting to enlarge it results in unusable text. Perhaps I am foolish in thinking that I could figure out how to access this seemingly great material through these means, but I figured I would give it a shot anyway.

Based on the grand reception of the Dinaranger series, If there is anyone here who has the capability of deciphering access to this archive as well as the generosity of their time, I bet everyone here would be more than appreciative. Seeing as there is a clear example of a hint for access, it would be safe to guess that the artist does in fact want an audience based on this niche of evil conversion. Many thanks in advance should anyone be able to figure it out.

Kikou Sennyo Rouran has Mahora who after some magic and mind control/brainwashing goes from the "little sister" character to the main villain's instrument

This is the greatest post I've seen in a very long time. You've really broken the barriers and contributed something new... I've never even seen this artist before. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!

I hope there is a way I can help... dunno about OCR but... we can dig around for passwords perhaps.

PASUWADO HINTO.

The mana franchise fell apart because despite Square's effort with the World of Mana Project the Fans complained to no end and only wanted Secret of Mana all over again. So Square just said "Fuck you"

So basicly, The Mana franchise fell apart because the fanbase refused to change. I personally own every game in the world of mana project and I think their all pretty good.

Never heard of OCR, but I've always used an IME pad for transcribing Kanji that I don't know. It's basically just a small window that you draw the symbol in. It requires you to know stroke order and such, but it's easy to learn.

Given the time, I could translate that block of text, though I'm not sure how it will give us clues as to the username and password. It'd be easier to read the code (though the code also has nothing).
