Generally when there's no response it's one of two situations. The least likely, that nobody cares because it's not relevant, and the most likely, nobody reading the thread knows/has it.

well i have searched through the be forum and found nothing. i even used the search feature but to no avail

Google and install Quicktime Alternative, or learn how to configure a program during install. QuickTime and RealPlayer are the most frequently mis-installed programs I've ever seen.

I think even real player plays quicktime files now. OH, and there's always the freeware universal players, vlc and my favorite, mpcstar...
