not really. google is leaving youtube alone. the only thing that has changed is that when you search for something in google video, the results for youtube show up as well.

It seems as though several BE posters are leaving You Tube.

For example, Dominator44XX, who had several good BE clips from anime, has now left You tube and migrated to Daily Motion.

I was shocked to search the BE videos, only to find that videos that were available for months are now being yanked in mass numbers.

Maybe You Tube is trying to clean up itself, or that those that have good BE clips are going to sites like Dailymotion which have a more lax policy on videos.

I'll keep everyone posted since I have a You Tube and Daily Motion account.

They're right little bastards, aren't they? When did they become so utterly corporate? I used to be able to watch Doctor WHO and Process stuff on there... now not so much.

I think youtube became corporate when what-was-it Viatcom or something bought them out last summer. They own Comedy Central, and they've had alot of videos removed due to copyright issues.

Also, some people have threatened youtube with suing (because you can access any music video from there) so youtube decided to clean up their act methinks.

Brain functions faster than fingers. Yes, that's what I tell myself. Sorry, I'll occationally use the wrong word by tacking on a letter or two that's not necessary. Part of the problem with working a job that requires me to express myself quickly and clearly. I still can't type custom without putting an -er on the end unless I'm careful.
