Von Krieger did a photo for a story involving them, too. Apparently, in FF Tactics there is a special attack Malboros can use that turns any non-unique character into a Malboro. The image on this page is for a Blue mage that had gotten transformed.

For some of the viewers sensitivities, I have only left the link, not the picture.
