Most of these conversions start out as somewhat tragic, but eventually those who are corrupted tend to feel better off.
Ever wonder what would happen if they were "saved" - purified/restored to their original state? How would they live with themselves after the damage that they've caused whiled corrupted by the lure of evil?
In some cases (like SMR's Wicked/Black Lady), this question has already been answered, but I'm referring mostly to the comics, manga, and several fanfics that usually leave the question unanswered.

This is one reason why I've never been much of a fan of "mind-control" episodes on any show, simply because they never really deal with the horrific implications or consequences of such a corruption. Imagine being terrorized by a brainwashed version of your own sister or father.

Frankly, if I was ever violently attacked by my own loved one(s) in such a manner, I'd never be able to look at them the same way again, even if they were ever freed from such a spell. In fact, it's pretty likely our relationship would fall apart altogether.

I've always felt Sailor Moon should have smacked the crap out of Wiseman and Wicked Lady in an all-out royal beatdown, but I guess that wouldn't have been appropriate on such a lightweight program.

Well, it's more interesting in the manga, where the stuff that made Wicked Lady was actually TRUE. And there's a lot of stuff on reprecussions with Tuxedo Mask's ka-evil, though not after he's better. Sailor Moon's personality has something to do with it. (Also, with Wicked Lady, the stuff she goes to redeem herself...she's busy grieving over Sailor Pluto.)

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon and the Ami Ka-evil might be interesting.

This is an old video from an episode of Randall & Hopkirk, with a possession that leads into a conversion-like transformation. The main character gets possessed later in the episode as well, but doesn't transform.



Does anyone know of other good "possession into transformation" clips or drawings? The clip from the anime where the girl gets possessed then turns into that succubus woman posted on this thread earlier is a good example.

What do you mean about 'feel better off'?

If you check past postings in this topic (or in the TF section of the forum)you'll find a lot of material (mostly deemed "Adult" in nature) that follow this scenario, the victim usually being female.
Said damsel in distress would eventually succumb to the corruption, accepting it and embracing her new fate. During this part of the transformation, the material usually hints that they have no regrets toward their fall from grace.
Hence, they feel better off being corrupted, and would gladly share the love....in more ways than one .
