akihabara didnt have a GREAT selection from what i saw... talked to a few owners and mentioned kuroitsuki but they just pointed me at random toho shit.

Whereabouts did you go in Akiba? There's a few good shops still around but it seems like everyone is setting up shops on Livedoor or Rakuten.

Melonbooks and Toranoana are the best places for doujins.

There's a big Toranoana that lists doujin by circle name. It's on the same side of the main road of the train station. Just go down it past Animate and keep checking on your left side.

Why are you asking for Kuroitsuki when Kuroitsuki does not have a single doujin?

There's a good shop between the Sofmap Mac kan and the Used Kan, it's 2 flights of stairs down and not really well marked.

There's a real good location in Shibuya, quite massive in fact. Doujin are down in the 7th floor subbasement, 5th and 6th floors are old manga and boxed sets.

Well, I mean there is a large selection, but haven't encountered too much EC. I'm trying to find stuff that's NOT online, and of the new releases I haven't really encountered anything that looks like it may have EC/MC. For example: Crooked Navel, but I suppose that's obscure.

I don't remember the Japanese for "evil conversion," but I figure it's niche enough where people wouldn't know. Does anyone remember what it is? Or MC? I am guessing store owners don't memorize the content of all their doujins, but hey, I might get lucky.

However there was one place below Hey! arcade that had a nice number of Lilith games.

Try akuochi I think that's the romaji for EC...Yeah its going to be hard to find stuff in-between conversions (C78 is in August.) Its a good size community online but the EC community is a single drop in a big bucket before Japanese mainstream, Moe, and Touhou. But best of luck! Its a great opportunity to get a chance to be there to say the least...
