The only reason he was even IN THE MOVIE was because fans demanded him so much. What Raimi did was pretty much this: "THERE...THERE'S YOUR VENOM..AND NOW HE IS DEAD, SO SHUT UP." If it were up to him, Venom would never appear in any of the films. But the producers forced him because of fan demand.

The first two were good. The villains had personality that was able to outlive the cheesiness of the script. The second one, especially, did this great. In the third one, they shoehorned 3 in there. If they wanted to include Venom, they should have had him be the parting shot (thus giving way to him as a main villain). Two villains can work. 3 muddies it in such a short film. I do remember something in the background on the third movie. It was a Daily Bugle story that mentioned Doc Ock continuing his rampage or something. Of course, considering the source, it's perfectly possible that it's a hoax, however, I found it interesting when I saw it. |

Re: Spiderman 4:The Movie
Marvel is currently operating under their own film organization and are actually making all the movies in the same continuity. In Ironman, edward norton as Dr. Banner will be there, and Robert Downy Jr. Shows up as tony stark in the hulk movie. The problem with all of this though is that spiderman was done before they started that and because of licensing crazyness they can't actually do anything with him for an huge extent for the next couple of years (i think it was 5 years actually).
