Well then, time to stir things up!

The sound of a telephone ringing...

"Hello? Yes my lord, what is it? Yes? Okay...really? How did that happen? I see...I see...yes we will look into it right away. Thank you very much for calling."

The source of the voice turned.

"Guys, we have work to do."

The bathroom was horribly cramped so you decided to try and make your way to your room where it was bigger. Stooping under the door and pushing yourself through, you made your way across the hall and felt relief upon entering, finally able to stretch.

"Do I have anything that will fit me now?" you pondered as you looked around.

You saw your bath robe hanging up in your closet and it seemed that was the only thing loose enough to still accomodate you, but now it was only good as a makeshift top as you tied it around yourself. You tied your blanket around your waist to act as a skirt to go with it. It was crude but at least it was functional. Before you could stop and continue trying to make sense of this situation, a noise outside the patio door caught your attention. You could make out the sight of movement behind it.

"A burglar?" you wondered, "Heh...we'll he's in for a surprise..."

Slowly, you moved over to the window and pulled it open, only to be greeted by the sheen of metal armor. The figure that wore it standing even over your new height.

"Eeeek!" you cried out falling backwards.

The figure broke it's pose as it waved it's hands frantically at you.

"Ack! Shhh! Please don't scream! You'll wake the neighbours!" he said in a soothing voice.

As you looked on, the figure lowered it's head under the door frame to step in. He was an imposing figure, comparable to your size. He wore shining silver plate armor decorated with various intricate designs and a flowing blue cape trailed behind him, almost covering the large sword on his back. He had amber eyes, tanned skin and blonde, shoulder length hair. Like you, he bore face markings on his cheeks and his forehead was imbued with the image of a fist raised to the sky, surrounded by flames.

"My apologies for this late intrusion my lady," he said kindly, "I understand there has been...a disturbance here?"

Understatement of the century...who is this man? Does he know what happened to you? How do you respond?

You hesitantly ask who he is and ask him how all this happened and if this had anything to do with the red light you thought you saw.

(phew, bout time. I was afraid you guys got bored with it. ^^)

"Something like that..." you replied, "There was this red light and suddenly I look like this. Who are you and what's going on here?"

"As I thought..." he replied, "Oh but where are my manners? I am Mathurin, the god of valor at your service."

You narrowed your eyes at this introduction.

"You're...a god?"

"Indeed and to answer your second question, at the moment at least...so are you."

Your eyes widened again.

"I'm a what?"

"You're a goddess, though most likely not for long..."

A ringing sound was heard.

"Oh, please excuse me," he said as he pulled out a cell phone of all things, "Yes? Yes, I found her. She's shaken but appears to be unharmed. Yes, I will immediately. Thank you."

"You have a cell phone?" you asked curiously.

"None can say we don't keep up with the times. But that was my colleague and he insists we meet somewhere where we won't attract unwanted attention. I'm relieved no one saw the events that transpired here already. Please, I must ask that you come with me and we'll have everything corrected shortly," Mathurin explained offering his hand.

"Wait...I can't go out dressed like this! I'm almost naked and there's nothing else that will fit me!" you protested.

"Easily remedied. You forget what you are now. If you want clothes, simply will it and it will be so. Try it," Mathurin requested.

Will it and it will be so? It sounded so simple. What do you create to wear?

You concentrated, all you wanted was normal looking clothes right now. A tank top, short shorts and a baseball cap appeared on you. They did help you at least feel a little more normal now.

"Very well, step close," Mathurin requested as he waved his hand. In a flash, you both stood in an old warehouse on the outskirts of town.

"Why are we here?" you asked.

"We set up a disguise field around this area ahead of time. This will ensure our conversation is not seen or heard by mortals," Mathurin explained as two forms appeared before them.

One looked like a somewhat aged but strong man with white hair tied in a ponytail and a small mustache to go with it. He wore a dark metal breastplate over a flowing robe resembling that of a judge. At his side, he held a decorate black metal war hammer.

"Is this her?" he asked with his stern eyes looking you over.

"Hi there!" came the energetic voice of the other one.

She looked like a small child though still of unusually large stature. She wore a shining blue dress decorated with images of flowers, suns and other such things. Her long brown hair was decorated with wild flowers but otherwise left untied. She held a silver scepter that bore the image of a laughing face upon the head.

"May I introduce you. This is Nanyel, the god of law and Tyria, the goddess of joy. We were sent to find out when we learned of your unplanned ascention," Mathurin explained.

"Raven is your name correct?" Nanyel said stepping forward in his formal manner.

"Yes..." you said like a child afraid she was in trouble.

"Well, please allow me to explain. Earlier today, there was a hacker in the master computer that maintains the order of your world. The perpatrator was attempting to steal a divine spark with the intention becoming a goddess."

He looked at you with narrowed eyes.

Did he suspect you did it? What will you do?

Yes. Act genuinely confused.

"What? No, I never," you pleaded, concerned he was accusing you, "I don't even understand all of this."

"I see," Nanyel replied plainly, "Very well then."

"What? You believe me?" you asked confused.

"Heh heh, Nanyel's the god of law," Tyria explained, "Even other gods can't lie to him."

"Yes it is true, all within my gaze are compelled to speak nothing but the absolute truth. I simply wanted to be sure, please forgive me miss," Nanyel explained before continuing.

"I don't believe you were the intended target of the spark so something apparently went wrong with our hacker's plans. As for you, it shouldn't be a difficult matter in returning things to normal. I will be attending the conference where we will discuss the matter and all should be returned as it was the very next day. All I require is your cooperation. I need you to return home and live our your next day as though everything is normal. We don't want to draw attention to this issue."

"Don't draw attention to myself? Look at me," you said gesturing to your body and face markings.

"Easily remedied. I'm sure you've already invoked your will before. Observe..." Nanyel said as he waved his hand and shrank down to the size of a normal person, his godly atire shifting to that of a business suit as well. Waving his hand over his face, his markings vanished, leaving him looking like an ordinary business man.

"It's easy, you can do it!" Tyria said encouragingly.

Nodding, you tried concentration and watched with relief as the world began to return to it's proper dimensions for you. You waved your hand over your face like Nanyel did to finish it off.

"Excellent," Mathurin said looking down at you now.

"So what's going to happen to me?" you asked worriedly.

"Well, mortal ascention is a difficult matter for us and it's not something we take lightly," Nanyel explained.

"In a nutshell, you'll probably be turned back to normal once the meeting is over. Unless someone really important says otherwise, we don't let mortals keep divine sparks. It's too dangerous," Tyria said.

"Don't worry, we'll watch over you until this is all settled," Mathurin said reassuringly.

"I apologize for this inconvenience but can I ask for your cooperation until this is resolved?"

This was all so much to take in. Do you have any questions or concerns for Nanyel or the others?

It'd be best to know exactly what you are capable of in the (un)likely event you accidently cause something to happen with your newfound Goddess abilities.

You asked "What can I expect from all this then?"

"Well in a nutshell, your will now affects all around you so it's very important that you keep your emotions in check, at least until tomorrow. Do you think you can handle it?" Nanyel asked.

"I'll try..." you said, still intimidated by the situation.

You found yourself back home shortly later with a lot to think about.

The next morning, you woke up yawning as everything in the room looked to be as it was.

"Phew...just a dream..." you said as you wandered over to the bathroom to clean up.

You passed by the mirror giving it a glance before turning around suddenly to confirm. There staring back at you was your idealized self with the facial markings to boot. It was no dream.

"Great...the guys will be following me like a pack of zombies..." you said aloud.

Not that you didn't like being so stunning but this was too much too quickly. How were you going to get through the day?

"Raven, your friend's here!" your mother called up before heading out the door as always.

Swallowing, you quickly hid your markings, got dressed and came down.

"Morning Raven, how are...wow! You look different today," Lisa said doing a double take as you came into view.

You were told to avoid drawing suspicion. How do you explain away this?
