YouTube doesn't want them to be saveable, so they make modifications once in a while to prevent the popular methods. Usually the downloaders catch up in a day or two.

meh, vixy's been running for awhile now. About a year.

Have you tried Veoh downloader? You have to get an account on it, but it works just fine with IE and youtube vids.
