Weird Al voiced Wreck-Gar in the Transformers animated cartoon series in the mid 2000's.

I fucking hate that phrase. Abraham Lincoln was also before your time, but I'm willing to bet you've heard of him. If something is available to see or hear, then when it was made doesn't matter. I like Ed Wood movies and Beatles' songs, both of which were produced before I was born.

If it's something you haven't seen or weren't interested in, say you haven't seen it or weren't interested in it. "Before/After my time" is dismissive and insulting, implying that what happened when you weren't around is irrelevant. And really, "After your time" would mean anything that happened post-death. This post happened after Chester Bennington's time, for example.

Jesus backflipping Christ, I wish people would think before they use these stupid phrases.

Look, sorry for overreacting. I have a friend who is about 15 years younger than I am, and she says "that was before my time" way too often. It always sounds dismissive and arrogant.

I wish I didn't dissect speech as much as I do, but I can't help it. This is what happens when a middle-aged English major spends two decades watching the language being repeatedly bitch-slapped and misused.

Came across this amusing clip from Teen Titans Go on Youtube. Did a search and didn't find anything about it, so sorry if it's a repost. Just poof TFs but the Titans do act animals including a nice Starfire to cat. Also it is the whole main cast so there is Male TF in the clip.
