Wow. I had no idea that she was in that movie. I feel kind of sorry for her now, considering Troll's reputation.

Here's a fun fact. The family in the Troll movie are called The Potters and one of them is named 'Harry'.

I don't think it's a bad movie really, it doesn't take itself too seriously and it's kinda fun. Very much a second-tier 80's fantasy/horror movie. Which is a good thing in my book.
Well ok it's a "bad" movie, but it's entertaining.

Now "Troll 2" is another matter:

Speaking of 80's fantasy/horror:

"Fright Night", showing EC=seduction:

(It might just be me, but the art quality for Chun-Li seems to be few notches above the general quality on this show, they seem to go to a lot of trouble to make her pretty)
Augh, two of my great weaknesses: Chun-li and Corruption.

Chun-Li: It was twenty years ago. You hadn't promoted yourself to general yet. You were just a petty drug lord. You and your gang of murderers gathered your small ounce of courage to raid across the border for food, weapons, slave labor...my father was the village magistrate. A simple man with a simple code: justice. He gathered the few people that he could to stand against you. You and your bullies were driven back by farmers with pitchforks! My father saved his village at the cost of his own life. You had him shot as you ran away! A hero... at a thousand paces.
M. Bison: I'm sorry... I don't remember any of it.
Chun-Li: You don't remember?!
M. Bison: For you, the day Bison graced your village was the most important day of your life. But for me... it was Tuesday.
? Street Fighter: The Movie

Horrible movie... but great line.

The ONLY parts of that movie that were good were Bison's scenes. And Chun-Li's outfit in that scene.
Raul Julia really knew how to have fun in a role. He was hammier than an Oscar Mayer processing plant but DAMN was Bison fun to watch!

I thought he was a strange choice for the role before I saw the movie, he really didn't seem to fit my image of Bison, but he pulled it off with good acting and screen presence.
Sometimes the over-the-top performances work, like Max von Sydow as Ming the Merciless in Flash Gordon. Takes a good actor is all.

The worst cast and written characters were actually Ryu and Ken. Sagat, Dee Jay and Dhalsim were kind of off too, but most of the others were pretty good, in particular I thought Zangief was funny and fit the part.

Biggest disappointment of the movie: Cammy wore pants.

Maybe this should go in the Growth Category but; Kinnikuman ep. 9
Photojournalist and friend of the heroes, Natsuko zapped and turned into a giant minion of the bad guys:

That wasn't the real Ryu and Ken, it was Rai-yuu and his friend who happens to be named Ken.
At least that's what I tell myself, since they were sniveling little worms and couldn't perform a hadoken to save their lives.
Speakin of Cammy, there's a lot of EC with her, what with being Bison's former mindslave.

Played by Kylie Minogue, though. That's gotta make up for it.

Re: Evil conversion(for the lack for better term)

the Us Street Fighter movie was a Jean Claude Van Damme vehicle, the focus was on the Bison vs Guile, Chun-Li was an after thought. I mean the whole Street Fighter Tournament was written out of the movie, the thing the movie is named for isn't in the movie just about every character except for Bison, Guile and Chun-Li got complete rewrites.
