Also, you say aftereffects is simple, but it looks like something that would take at least a few months of determined, in-depth use to learn.
Right, honestly I only know enough about after efftects to make it do anything at all; the most complex action I've ever done in it was apply a mask with, maybe 16 vertexes~ Everythig is else has been either a "move postion" "rotate" or "liqufy". I agree that it would take along time to learn. The best way I can describe After Effects is: It's like what you get when you mix Photoshop with Sonic Foundry; it all layers and tracks...and instead of music you somehow get a movie.

p.s.- obviously the process is the most important part, but the way you made the sleeping girl yawn and sit up-- i nearly came from pure craftsmanship.

I'm glad you like them, however it is much to my displeasure to hear that you're having a complication playing the gifs. Try opening the gifs with firefox or internet explorer if the operating system has trouble playing it; sometimes the "preview" can be currupt during a save or transfer, at least that's How I believe it happens becuase I've had the same problem with some gifs before.

Heh, Getting her head to turn around was a bit tricky..but it seems getting her little "wtf" moment in there paid off.

I had to take advantage of a student discount for these programs, and they aren't up to date anymore. I'm afraid that I'm uncertain if there is a "gimp" of after effects. At least I haven't searched for one, sorry about that.

Re: Smooth edit

...I just.... WOW. There's... nothing bad I can possibly say about any of these edits. They're amazing! wvb is right, these have to be the best process we've seen here in... well, ever, if we're talking animations!

Personally, I'm pleasantly surprised that you chose to use Mina Hayase from Sexfriend (one of my personal favorite hentai anime characters) for a subject! (She's the girl who wakes up to her squishy surprise.) Not that she needs boobs to be cute, but it certainly didn't hurt!

All I can say, Regalia12, is thank you for contributing, and continue to do what you do!

Seriously Regalia, these are crazy good. I've been collecting this stuff for years. I've seen my share and those are all top quality. Honestly, if you take commissions, I'm in. I wouldn't mind paying for that stuff.

Think about it and drop me a PM, I'm serious.

Seriously, if this is the level of quality you produce with no experience? Get a damned JOB doing this.

Re: Smooth edit

I know this is for fun and not for profit dude, but you can make some series moolah off of this kind of work. Its definitely Grade S. Taking a still and making it move with morphs and moves? That definitely takes time and effort. Maybe you could set up commissions and have people send you pictures of those quality and get paid? I'm serious, this is money worthy.

These are all very interesting considerations, however, due to the fact that I do not use my own original artwork, I wouldn't dare charge a penny for these few-second animations. If I invest in a Wacom tablet and spend a couple years of intensive "hot anime chick" surveying, then perhaps I would consider it. As of now, I couldn't draw a one-line clavicle to save my life. Maybe after spending some more time with these, I'll develop a better understanding for it.

I'm just glad these tidbits are enjoyed by the community, as finding new material is relatively uncommon. The gif I'm working on currently, however, is becoming increasingly difficult~ ><.

Re: Smooth edit

That's cool dude Although I have a question: For the XP tan gif you did, how did you pull off the boobs for that one? You got nipples for her and everything; its amazing.

Believe it or not, I gave xp tan a transplant in order for the breasts to escape in that gif. They came from this image. Copied and pasted under the clothing.

Oh not to worry, i'd provide the artwork: stuff I commissioned for myself and who could benefit from your talent.

As I said I'm serious. Think about it.

Re: Smooth edit

I have to agree with what people have said so far about doing jobs or work on this: from what I've seen, you're almost at the level of the in-game animations on most dating sims (like that Pai Touch game). I see what you mean about probably being wary due to the essence of the work being edits of existing drawings, but like Devon said, people could probably provide you with commissions they've received or drawings they've made?

Keep up the quality work. I'm especially in awe at how you're incorporating aspects that aren't in the original image, like having the girl actually turn her head in that most recent one. Stuff like that makes me go, "Holy crap, how'd he do that??"
