"Fraction" is the handle used by the poster at BEA and some Yahoo! Groups. He (I presume Fraction is male) made a large number of manga excerpts available several years ago. (I believe he's still online, but hasn't been as active in the last couple years.) He has a Yahoo! "briefcase" with a number of excerpts under the name "Fraction".

The filename "Fraction" is being used, I suspect, simply because no one seems to know the name of the manga it came from. (Like many of the excerpts that have been posted on this Forum, the manga seems to be at least ten years old and is now pretty hard to track down...)

Well, the first page of this thread contains pretty much everything in his briefcase. I can't seem to find my original link to the briefcase itself. But there is a Yahoo group containing all of his comics in zip files in the (files) section. If you're interested in saving Lorekeep some bandwith, it's here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fractionp/?yguid=96464638

So much for my memory -- it looks like the "fraction" briefcase is either gone or wasn't under that name... The stuff is under photos.yahoo.com/d_cup_manga, but you can also find it "zipped" at the fractionp group already mentioned.

Also, the "milkmaid" manga posted earlier in this thread doesn't seem to be there. I know it's in at least one Yahoo!Group's files, but I don't recall which one now...

"FAQ #17..."

Are you registered with Yahoo! as a user and were you logged in when you attempted to access the files?

If you've leapt that hurdle, there is always the issue of Yahoo!Group bandwidth... >:-/

ARRRRGH... I remembered the link wrong and can't check things on Yahoo! from home on my ancient computer. Yahoo! used to call these albums "briefcases", but I guess they all got changed to "photos" over the last few years. I've corrected the link in my post above.

(Now that's interesting... you can't access Group Files and Photos without being logged in, but the "photos" albums are publicly accessible.)

Anyway, does that fix things for ya?

Ok, now link works... but pics are really small, though the original dimensions are higher than appears... Classic problem on Yahoo photos... Is there a way to see the full size image, there and in each Yahoo Group? Only the owner of the post can see medium and full size pics! I also asked to Yahoo help about a solution, but didn't receive anything, no FAQ mail, no reply, nothing!

There isn't any way to view them except at the one size above thumbnail; even the coding trick that worked for a while has been blocked.

A few years back, Yahoo! must have been getting into trouble with how bandwidth-hungry the "adult content" Clubs/Groups had become and set up a blanket limitation on all of them preventing the viewing of Photos at full size (this is why a lot of the Groups started shifting everything over to the Files sections). If you consider how many tens of millions of adult content Groups there must be (which are accessible for free), this doesn't seem so unreasonable from an operational point of view...

(BTW, non-adult Groups do not appear to have this limitation, which probably tells you something about where the majority of the Groups are...)
