Re: Midna BE Story

Ah, OK. I was considerably less tired and more motivated, so I actually wrote a new piece. Hope I didn't make any mistakes- it's some sort of warming up.

"The remaining hours of darkness were peaceful- so peaceful that even a man with thousands of troubles on his mind would feel refreshed. Though a chair was not the most suited resting place in the world, adventure had hardened Link, it was comfortable enough after all the nights under the moon. And Midna also still lay in peace. For one night, she didn’t have strange visions or horrid dreams. Unconsciously she thanked the Golden Goddesses and the deities of Twilight for this blessing.

Their deep sleep caused Link and Midna to stay asleep until noon the next day. Link woke up first, and Midna soon after. Neither of them spoke a word, they just looked each other in the face and smiled- and somehow, the sun seemed to shine even warmer and brighter that moment. A curse across dimensions and an indestructible diamond? It all didn’t seem so serious. Midna and Link had stood through much, much more. After some time of non-verbal communication, Midna stepped out of bed and Link stood up from his chair.

The both of them, with smiles on their faces and a warm feeling their hearts, left Link’s house and walked into the Ordon Village. It was rather quiet in the village; quieter, in fact, than it normally was. The children were still sleeping in their houses, but Link heard a noise in the distance. It was the sound of splashing water- he looked where it came from, and his smile faded. Not more than 20 yards away stood Ilia, bathing in the river- and she had changed, to say the least.

All she wore was underwear, made from shreds of different clothes- but it didn’t do much good in hiding how obviously curvy she had become. Her breasts had always been small- but now they were about half as big as Midna’s. Her hips had developed obvious roundness. It was a shocking sight for Link to see his childhood friend in this state, even though she hadn’t changed as much as Midna. Ilia looked up at them- she was surprised, but tried to hide this by looking as neutral as possible. But this didn’t stop her face from turning crimson.

“Good day …” she said quietly. Link gave an encouraging nod, and Midna answered with “Hello.” An awkward silence fell as it had done before but Midna was too cheerful to let the high hopes fall. “Hey, Ilia, today we’re going to try every method of destruction on this diamond. We’ll visit Zelda, Light Spirits, shamans and whoever- isn’t that right, Link ?” she said cheerfully, turning to Link. Link nodded, his face returning to a big smile. Midna’s attitude was very encouraging, and Link almost felt as though victory was at hand.

A weak smile came to Ilia’s face also and she shrugged her shoulders a bit ( the bounce that this caused on her chest did not go unnoticed by anyone ). She nodded, and turned to go back to home. Midna looked a bit. Ilia’s rear end had grown quite a bit- it was bigger, but firm and round and not fat. Much like Midna’s, just less- for now. Midna couldn’t help but chuckle at how incredibly obviously Link did not look at Ilia’s rear. They turned, and walked to the direction of Epona, who had been well-rested also.

Even Epona seemed encouraged to run to and fro all day. After a known story of awkward climbing, the same trip began again. Link clutched the diamond firmly in his hand, for he did not trust it at all. It hardly hid it’s desire to make contact with Midna. The curse wanted to get her back- it would regain much of it’s power. It shone malevolently, a light not reflected from the sun but from inside it. Link and Midna decided that Zelda would be the first person they should visit- and after some time of fresh air that flew by in Hyrule Field, it came in view."

Thank you.
I more or less agree. My motivation's been going downhill since Grim left the project.

lol "nice segue", you just unintentionally made my day that extra bit better, Cyero.

...Um, yeah, anyway, I'm glad to see the story's back, even if it is going to most likely be updated very itermittently. It's great stuff.
