is it impossible to post in the 2chan threads if you are not from JP?

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: Not exactly. 2chan only allows you to post if you have a Japanese IP, but you can easily get around that with a VPN. However, you're only allowed to make requests if you use a 2chan function that shows your domain name (to keep people from making multiple requests)
However, I nor anybody else I've talked to know how to get that function to work.. It's something that goes in the e-mail field, like the "noko" and "sage" functions, but I can't find it in any FAQ or wiki article.

To make your IP appear you put 'sage ・3・' in the email box, not just sage. The instructions are literally in the first post of every thread.

That was a mistake. I don't know how much you frequent this thread, but we've been warned in a past post NOT to use google translator because quite a few users of that site generally don't take too kindly to gaijins and they can tell when someone is using a translator.

If I were you, I wouldn't expect your request to be filled now that they know you're a gaijin.

Depends on whether they're traditional, or "reform" as it were. Seems the youth are more for the global economy than the aging "old guard."
