So apparently Crooked Navel made an evil conversion game that plays like shining force, with a trial download on their site, an update for the actual fullgame which is not on there site, and no information on how to actually buy the game.

Its called Princess in the Dark if anyone is interested in hunting it down.

It's been around for a while. I think it was unfinished.

I got the Giga vid, it's actually not bad. Unfortunately the converted heroine kills a new good girl after making out with her and abusing her for a bit. It's not gruesome or bloody, though.
There is an awesome slow development of the EC though. It starts with the heroine winning, then taking a shower and seeing the dark costume with hesitant curiosity. She tries it on and models with it, but then she suddenly feels horny, and the spirit of the main villainess comes behind her and starts seducing her. She masturbates, has wet dreams, then is consumed by dark energy.

Next scene, she is in the villain's lair, and the villain holds her/works her over a bit, makes her suck a dildo. Then the heroine finally gives in, and starts to make out with the villainess. Then you have like 20 mins of sex as the villainess penetrates the heroine, rides her in several positions, kisses her, etc.

Then the heroine is visibly hopeless (and still in the dark outfit), and she is consumed in dark energy, puts on a dark ring, kneels, holds hands with the villain, and is engulfed in more energy as her total conversion is complete.

Then, next scene you see her with a darker expression leading some goons to abuse a random guy. She encounters heroine, beats her, and then kills her.

That's really great if that's the case. Are you sure though that it's not Dark Princess like in my picture? His had that on his site for the last couple of years.

Quite possibly, it was a google translation, as I couldn't see the text otherwise (apparently I am missing a particular japanese font that CN fond of.)

but yeah, how complete is the game, I notice the last patch was the middle of last month, which would leave me to think bugs are being fixed, but the gist of the messages seems to imply content is being added.

Also, nice glove.

edit: just went to the page again, and checked, its also listed as dark princess, so thats the same game, but its been getting updated for 2 years? the hell?

from what i can tell, he's been basically adding process to the transformations in each of his updates. If you check his game page, you can find a demo with the first level for free download.

If someone manages to get their hands on the game, we can probably get the password necessary to unlock the password protected zip files and get a good look at whats being added with each update...

as for how 'complete' it is... well, only someone who owns it really knows that, maby the gameplay is all there but CN is adding cutscenes for events that already happen in game as time goes on.

Now the next point, why is it goddam impossible to get the game? I mean, with exception to Ilparazzo, who I'm sure is so good at getting shit he has dark planet 5 already, I have seen NOTHING of the game besides the screenshots on navels site, and what I played in the trial (which was FUN).

Furthermore, and heres the part that has me shitting my pants in surprise, its not up for online sale anywhere (that the original proprietor indicates that is). Almost more surprising than THAT, is its seemingly not up for illicit download. Now, I'm sure Crooked has lots of resources at their disposal to keep people from keeping download sites up, but by the same token, its Crooked, so the amount of people trying SHOULD be making the download links more abnoxious than that one goddamn game series with the terrible art that keeps getting posted in the GOR thread on hongfire (which I cant check the title of because hongfire is down.)

CN, while popular among our community, is still just one among thousands of artists in japan, and alot of his older works have not been uploaded at all. I'm relatively positive that this has nothing to do with CN trying to block downloads, and more to do with the fact that the game has been EXTREMELY limited. I'd be genuinely surprised if there were more than 200 copies of the game in the world, as I've been told that he took something around the order of 60 copies to the latest comiket, which is the only time its been available after initial release.

It may sound weird, but it seems like he just isn't popular enough in japan for people there to feel like it would be appreciated if uploaded to the internet. Almost all of our scans of CNs works seem to be thanks to the efforts of consumers in the rest of the world going out of their way to obtain hard copies of the books and then upload them. Its part of what makes getting any of his stuff a rare treat.

I'd expect CN to do a digital release of the game once it has been completed(as in he no longer intends to make free updates for it), but until then we're sort of grasping for straws unless someone tries to get it straight from japan on the day of a comiket
