Am I the only one who thinks that Mari pick looks a whole hell of a lot like Revi from Black Lagoon. Just the drawing style and the face shape scream it to me.

Not that it makes much damn sense at all, something that involves Mari(a different Mari...) losing control, and now we have dark Hikari. Let's see what the what evageeks says... " After that she was brainwashed with drug by Euro Army and sent to confront Nerv Japan as the pilot of EVA EUROII Heurtebize. "

Have fun.

If that's Bad Hikari, why does the description talk about Mari?

Re: Evil conversion(for the lack for better term)

Two DC comics events, FINAL CRISIS and BLACKEST NIGHT, are practically goldmines for corruption material. In fact, it's almost the whole theme.

In "Final Crisis", Wonder Woman is turned into a deformed servant of Darkseid, while Holly Granger of Hawk & Dove is murdered and revived as an evil shell in "Blackest Night".

I wouldn't recommend the books, to be honest. Besides the TF content, FINAL CRISIS is a weird mess while BLACKEST NIGHT is dreary and overly nasty, with zombies tearing out the hearts of superheroes in full graphic detail. Some fanboys might be into that sort of thing, but OTT violence and blood-dripping gore doesn't always equal maturity. Also, the zombies in BLACKEST NIGHT are able to talk, but that only makes them much, much more obnoxious. (Basically, they're metaphors for internet trolls.) They should have been called "The Yapping Dead".

Superboy Prime was a metaphor for internet trolls. I never got that feeling from the Black Lanterns. I'll agree about Final Crisis being a weird mess, but considering what was shown and my own opinion about gore I felt Blackest Night wasn't that bad.

They sustain themselves by provoking (and feeding on) emotional reactions in their targets. Ergo, internet trolls.

Superboy Prime became an internet troll at the end of Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds.
