I'm not a fan of the final fantasy series. I've tried a couple, namely 7, 10, and the latest 14 but they all sucked for various reasons.

14 is a mmo which like 11 pretty much falls out of the boat when talking about the final fantasy rpg franchise. The last one was 13 which pretty much was hated by alot of people I think, not sure how the people that played all 3 feel.
I'm glad I missed out on all 3 FF13 but that was mostly because I didn't own a PS3.
From what I gathered though Lightning was the most uninteresting character ever designed and why they even went as far as to make 3 chapters is just weird.
If they still don't make a remake of FF7 with the PS4 then there's something seriously wrong with the Japanese. I mean FFX and FFX-2 got a remastered version on both PS3 and the Vita and that was well recieved I think.

14 is the latest in a very LONG line of absolute shit MMO'S. Beginning with world of warcrap (because this was the first mmo i was introduced to) the entire genre of mmo has been infected with this formula: start in the noob area and wait till lvl 10 to get out, then proced to the subsequent areas, each without a lick of challenge to any mob. Introduce incredibly cliche and predictable "story". pander to the whim of every whinny little shit player in the game, further reducing any semblance of any challenge. Rinse and repeat. However for FF14 they took it a step further; they actually forced you OUT of parties. That's right, an mmo that forces you to play single player... and last but certainly not least, even dungeons were devoid of any enjoyment because they were so short, so easy (solo-able), and so boring. The only thing they did right in the entire game was the class system and crafting; absolutely everything else was botched so bad i didn't even use the first month's worth of game time before leaving.

Game score on FF14: 15%
