Agreed, but most important would be at least a few pages showing them a few years in the future as they approach adulthood, to see how they adjusted and turned out. For me, I feel much better when there is proper closure to a story that wraps things up. Without this, there are too many questions on how they turn out.

Agreed, that would have been good as well if not quite as nice as a few more chapters that wrapped things up.
