There was one detail about Synthoids that was disturbing, they fell apart after too much activity, like Quick Clones from the MIB cartoon(thus why I refer to them as Synthoids not Clones). They could last a few hours or a few days, but too much strenuous activity and they become a puddle of goo. The first episode of GI Joe to use them extensively actually had a cut because one instance melting was too disturbing, a little girl with a rifle melting into goo.
I believe the justification for the synthoids in the transformers episode was that the machine used wasn't a mind transfer machine, but that mind transfer was an effect of using the synthoid making machine to create a copy. "Snake" only had the machine, he didn't have the technical knowledge to take it apart so the villains could use JUST the part that transferred minds. One question remains, why where their 3 sets of overalls with the same color pattern as the 3 transformers hanging next to the machine?

Cure Peace seems to have been really noticed by corruption artists for some reason.
Anyone know if she's done something particular to get singled out like this or is she one of those characters you would just love to bully?

I can't figure that one out either. She is my least favorite from this years Precure incarnation.

My guess is it could be because she is the shy character (like Ami from Sailor Moon who is a big hit with corruption artists) and that her trademark "piece signs" parallel the cliche finisher bitch pose that is big with NTR and mind break hentai.

she's also the most moe, being shy but also having a naughty side...at least as naughty as a show aimed primarily at little girls can get.
She's also the youngest looking, even though all 5 are the same age.
