Evil conversion(for the lack for better term)

I need to catch up on that series, I really did enjoy and it's only gotten more interesting and cooler since I left.

On another note, the Bad End Cures could be corrupted versions of them, where they embraced darkness. So while it might not have process, we might get some back story as to why they've fallen. Though then again they've come in so late to the series, so chances are they will be nothing more than obstacles. That would be a pity, BECAUSE I FREAKING LOVE THEIR OUTFITS AND STYLE! Yay bodysuits~ It's like dark circus magical girls, or like the Oppositio Senshi(who I also love for a similar reason).

As for Sailor Moon, I've only heard that it's going to be more likely a remake of the manga. But then again, I haven't heard anything at all since it's first announcement.

Well, since it's episode ~46, this is usually the time when the bad guy pulls out his trump card. The evil cures are likely just evil clones of the girls to give them something to do until episode 48 when the series ends and the bad guy dies once and for all yadda yadda yadda.
They did something similar last season with Suite's Trio the Minor (but they're a group of guys so I never really cared) and the season before that had Dark Cure as a recurring villain have her climactic battle (along with the rest of the mini boss squad minus the one who had lost earlier) with her counterpart...on pretty much the exact same numbered episode.
It's probably going to be strikingly similar to the Yes! PreCure 5! Movie, where the villain created villainous versions of the team to fight them. The japanese 2chan EC guys just like it because their fixation seems to revolve more around the evil costumes and attitude than any sort of change to the characters.
Except, of course, for our good friend Macxe.
It's unfortunate that PreCure has, to date, never had a Cure go bad. The closest they've come is two of them retiring in Heartcatch before the series starts (Moonlight, due to getting her ass kicked, and Flower, due to being old and sacrificing her power to seal away the season's bad guy before the story started.)

They haven't had any go bad, maybe; but I think the PC5 becoming enslaved by despair (getting masked) was pretty close, though the villains didn't utilize them, instead trying to dispose of them.
