Shame. I hope later issues deal more directly with Carly's post-transformation persona, especially if there's more struggle going on inside her than we might know about.

(And imagine the possibilities if the writer chooses to KEEP her that way instead of magically curing her by the end, as these kind of stories frequently do.)

Should we even care about her? Is that Spider-Man part of the Avengers storylines or a thing of its own? Is it an alternate reality that can be discarded or is it part of Marvel's bigger picture? I sincerely lost track of all those Marvel comics...

I gave up around the time Peter Parker made a deal with Mephisto, to be honest. But I'm a total sucker for anything involving monsters and TF. It's sad as hell.

See this is why I stick to manga where the story is told only once, not rebooted 4 billion times with each reboot crappier than the last, with the exception of a very rare diamond in the rough.
