For anyone following this show, does this look like it will stick, or is it the usual "will be undone within two episodes" corruption?

well the series is scheduled for 13 episodes so it will probably be reversed by the last episode at the latest. If it follows the standard tropes , next episode will have her fight her fight against the gods in anger, come back to her senses, temporarily controlled for a short scene by the main villain (ideally with a outfit upgrade) then be turned back to normal once they are defeated in the last episode.

Rage of Bahamut does indeed have many 'dark' characters isn't it?

Story-wise, Celia was 100% possession. I actually participated in the event that she was a part of. And I think they kiddified the ending of the event (We're back! But wait, where is Celia? Have faith, and she will return to you in time), because I'm hearing the heroes actually ended up killing her in order to escape the demon skies. Which is bullshit, since said demon possessing her was already possessing another demon (Dark Dragoon Forte) at first, who I recall then helped the heroes after she was freed.

Still, she was sexy, even before she was possessed and went Demon.

I've only heard bits and pieces of what's going on in Genesis. I think I heard someone mention Lucius (and also Feena and Teena? They're a known trio) appear in one episode, and lots of Jeanne, of course. It'd be a real shame if this series ends without an appearance by Dark Angel Olivia. Hell, I could say that about a lot of the Demon Realm girls, but Olivia seems like a must-have.

Yeah; that's pretty much what I expected.

Off the top of my head, I can't remember an anime heroine corruption that stuck, where the girl remained a villain until series' end or until she was killed off.

Racking my brain, I can recall a handful of game and novel instances; but not any anime.

Sailor Element is pretty much all corruption endings. One route involves Not-Ami losing in a fight against Evil Not-Rei and the main busty succubus villain, getting double teamed by both with strap-ons while they tell her how "sugoi" and "kawaii" she is, and then in next scene Evil Not-Ami shyly (but desperately) wants to bonk some guy's brains out while she keeps calling him "onii-chan."

So there's that.
