I think there's an unspoken rule about how long a "good guy" can remain a "bad guy." I'm sure TV Tropes has a page on it somewhere.

Seems in anime especially that corruption is either for 5 or fewer episodes(a few exceptions) or is for good.

Yeah its the pesky status quo is god issue, and a character turning evil would break up the team and risk causing conflict.

Any for goods usually end up dying in within the 5 episode span.

I think Gulliver Boy's Phoebe was the longest turned evil at around 10 episodes or so.

No, I doubt it will get many purchases at all.
